Are you building a new PC monster, and having trouble selecting the best components for it? Or are you simply having heated debate with your friends which component is better? If you answered yes to any of those questions then the CompMark application is just for you.

CompMark is a database of benchmarks for PC components (graphic cards and processors). It includes more than 200 different components in one application. There is no need to connect to the internet - the whole database is stored locally. Every graphic card/processor has a name, basic technical specifications and a score (in selected benchmark) written in a simple easy to use interface.

It would be nice if you could include more hardware components, but I know that is a lot of work and would require much testing for benchmarking purpose.

This app does what the description claims with regards to graphics cards and processors. But there are other pieces of hardware that should be considered when performance is the goal. It would be great if you could add hard drive info, maybe system board, etc. It doesn't even have to be brand names; maybe just enter simple stats to adjust the overall performance rating.

Good start, I like the idea. Keep up the good work.

Good info, not very easy to use

I like the interface as far as the different brands using different colors, but this app needs a "Search" function and "Compare" function for me to consider it useful. Three stars because of the content, though.

All hardware data is being pulled from tomshardware (not a complaint, simply a comment, I don't expect an app creator to do their own benchmarks). Laptop processors are non existent, it's just a list of processors and video cards. Not up to date, missing several newer geforce models.
